From the Panels to the Arena

Please Note: Comic Fighter is currently in the conceptual phase and very early stages of development. We are actively shaping the core mechanics, layout, and visual flow, turning a raw idea into a fully playable prototype.

Flip the Page. Fight the Panel.

Comic Fighter bridges the gap between classic graphic novels and traditional Mortal Kombat-style fighting games. Instead of fighting in standard static backgrounds, your arena is the comic book page itself. Smash your opponent through panel borders, use speech bubbles as platforms, and unleash devastating combos as the narrative dynamically unfolds around you.

Planned Features:

  • Interactive Panel Arenas: Fight across moving comic pages where breaking through boundaries transitions you to the next scene.
  • Narrative Combat: Your fights literally write the story. Every special move and knockout alters the artwork and text in real-time.
  • High-Octane Mechanics: Tight, responsive 2D fighting engine built for fluid combos and satisfying impacts.
  • Signature Comic Aesthetic: A stylized, cell-shaded tribute to golden-age and modern gritty comic books.

Join the Development Journey

We are laying down the foundation for a game that treats presentation as a core mechanic. Because this project is fresh on the drafting table, community feedback is everything. Follow along for early devlogs, UI concepts, and mechanics testing as we bring this vision to life from scratch.
